GOOD MORNING, FRIENDS

January 12/2025 REMEMBERAMBLE

Good morning once more my friends. It is Monday, and I hope you are raring to go, loaded for bear, gotcha big boy/big girl britches on, have your eye on the prize, your feet firmly planted, have a clean handkerchief, a small knife, stand in good stead with, and are wearing the "full armor of God." We got no rain at all as many did the other day, Of course it always turns windy and cold after a rain during the winter months, or even when the rain missed ya. So, it is a might airish outside this morning. I am listening each time the central heating's heat pump (heat pumps are the Conway Twitty of HVAC systems.) comes on, I can see the numbers spinning and climbing to a grand crescendo on my "light bill." This fireplace and insert is looking more and more attractive to me. If my brother would bring me some "far wood," I would build a fire...I meant "far." That reminds me, have you ever slept in a bedroom with a fireplace with a fire burning? The fire-glow and and small crackling sounds and the crumbling sounds of firewood as it gives itself unto us, that we might sleep well and warm, almost as if it truly cares for us. I will never forget our wedding night at the old Le Conte View Motel in Gatlinburg, in a room with a fireplace. I hope to get my appointment set this week, to see Dr. Kapoor at Wellstar MCG. I now have a bit of anxiety when it comes to cardiac catheter procedures, but if he thinks he can get that problem stent in there, I will have it done. But will be glad when all of this is over. If I can get my heart mended and ever receive my Social Security benefits, I will be a happy boy indeed. Of course I know many of you have and are enduring so much more than I am, as I struggle with no income and seemingly endless health problems. Having my life on full display here, where I share my daily life with you, it amplifies my gripes and grumbles such that it is a wonder any of you are still here. I am being facetious, but having my life be an open book here, has to make some folks roll their eyes when my name is mentioned. Huhuhuh. A life that is an open book, is rarely a best seller, but mine has topped the charts a time or two! I did get on a roll last evening posting here on the group, and it turned into a marathon session of placing new posts. I enjoyed it, and maybe will feel well enough soon to do it again. Maybe, just maybe.
