GOOD MORNING, FRIENDS

Yes, I have decided to return to "Good Morning, Friends," for my daily column, the change to "Hello Friends," was not as well received for some reason, readership had plummeted. Small shifts can sometimes have an impact beyond what is expected. I doubt anyone had a conscious thought about it and decided to stop reading it, but it had been devalued somewhat and no longer carried the attraction it once did. Christmas is coming soon, only a couple more days, then the fruits of your labor combine with the credit cards in your wallet to make for a joyful day. Of course, the 26th of December comes rolling along, you haul away another wonderful Christmas day's detritus, dross, dreck, rubbish and debris, and here comes those niggling thoughts of credit card bills yet to come, and it curdles your eggnog. Not to worry, a lot of things could happen before that statement arrives, you know, like death or the sun could go beyond the event horizon, shoot, you might have a rich uncle leave you his Avon bottle collection and his Franklin Mint display of little pewter steam locomotives and Gone with the Wind collectibles. I do believe I missed a very fine sunrise this morning, The boyz took me for a walk just at daybreak, and I saw that it might be shaping up to be a dazzling display as it progressed. Ordinarily I open the blinds on the kitchen door so I can see the sunrise from my couch, you know, where my nest is. But I got sidetracked and by the time I remembered to get up and look outside, it was fading fast. But it was obvious that it had been a spectacular one indeed. If you have photographs of this morning's sunrise post one in the comments here and then boogie yourself over to our sister group, "Cloud Nine," and post them there. That group is poised to really grow and soon, too. I sometimes think I have too many groups, but this is the one that is my heart, so to speak. My other groups are run by some great folks who make it where I do not need to give it a thought. I owe them a great deal indeed.

A dollar short and a day late as they say. That is alright, I no longer lament very much, the missing of such things, as beautiful as they are, I have faith that I will, and you will join me in Heaven someday, and we will see the Universe-entire, and praise the one God who spoke us and it all into existence. We will have eyes to see Him, that will not blink when we behold his majesty, I daresay we will not only never be blinded by the lights of the sun and stars, but we may reach into them, and suffer not. For flesh will be not there, and the thins of this earth will have passed away, and the baby Jesus whom we celebrate, had become a man, and is now awaiting us, and will call us friend. He knows your name, and mine, I almost said, "just think how that will be," but it is beyond our ken, and we have not the ability to even think of it, because mortal minds know it not. We love you, and ask God's blessing for you and yours.

Good morning Wade and the boyz! Yep, the day is almost here. I have one more cake to finish, my 14 layer Chocolate cake. I have baked the layers and they are in the refrigerator. I just have to cook the icing and assemble it! I pray that you and the boyz will have a wonderful Christmas. Remember the reason for the season! We love y’all and we appreciate your friendship!
Great day in the morning! Blessings to you and yours. Heaven will be great and God is too. He is with us all the time. Enjoy your day all day long.
