As you see I this image I chose, that weather will be the big topic of the day, as rough weather is moving in today, it may be severe in places and we must remain alert. Don't do like me, and nap all day with the computer, cell phone, laptop, and radio off. You need to be awake, alert, tuned in and turned on...with no apologies to Timothy Leary. Everyone with a cell phone should have a weather alert app on it, either your favorite television station's weather center or the National Weather Service, AccuWeather, or the Weather Channel's. It would be best to keep your pets indoors until later today after the front has moved through. Most of the worse weather systems are fast moving, and we hope this one proves to be in a great hurry to leave! This time of year, cooler or even cold weather usually follows such weather systems, and we are forecast to see temps to drop below freezing tonight! That is why I term March weather "schizophrenic," and suspect it is not taking its meds! March should see a Doctor of Psychologicalmeterology. Yesterday was the ides of March, yet today is the day to be warned and wary of. Yesterday a friend and I took some food to our friends Scott and Dawn Baker to give to their piggies, there at their home, in Candler County. They started and maintain the "Wallow in the Woods" pig rescue where they take in potbellie pigs as well as other pigs that were abused or neglected. It is surprising to find out how many pigs people get for pets then as soon as they are not cute little piggies, or their kids tire of caring for them, they abuse or neglect them. Some are in dire straits and thye Bakers take in as many as they can.

Of course there are those folks who are cynical about such labors of love, and will make snide remarks to criticize what the Bakers do, and do not honor their efforts. Well, I do, and will do what I can to help. As we talked yesterday, Dawn mentioned a lady who told her that she should kill their pigs, and give the meat to the poor. If I was told this, I would then ask the lady how much pork she bought and gave to the poor last month. More than likely that would have shut her down. You might wonder what foodstuff I took to them yesterday, well I cleaned out the refrigerator of leftovers, and had accumulated a large number of canned goods that I had been given, some were several years old or were not things that we would eat. There were sliced potatoes in cans, canned fruit, and a couple of dozen cans of apple sauce. There were two quarts of milk that had gone bad that had been pushed to the back of my refrigerator, as well as some eggs, that had been languishing in perpetuity also. It was good to see the pigs scarf it down! Of course it was only enough to feed a few of the pigs but is appreciated by them all. Well, I am about to bug out, but I hope you know how much it means to me to have you join me here. Thank you!

God Bless them for taking care of those piggies and to hell with the woman who told her to kill them. I usually have good manners but if you ever told me something like that, you best start running!!
Good afternoon Wade and the boyz. I pray that you haven’t had any bad storms. So far, we have only had rain. That was a good deed that you did with the old food. Thank you for your tender heart!
You are a good & caring child of God.
Bless you for the things you do for other people & pets. You set the example of love one another.
Keeping a check on this weather. Mainly rain right now over in Soperton. You boyz three have a wonderfully blessed and safe day, Mr. Wade. ❤️🙏
