A REMEMBERAMBLE January 5, 25

Here we are once more, we must stop meeting like this, 'cause folks gonna go to talking! Nah, I believe it will be fine for us to keep getting together as we please. Y'all know I am just "funnin'ya." I hope your weekend went well, mine did and it was all quite pleasant. Saturday I picked up Steven from the ministry (NBIC), we came back and he cleaned up and straightened out the back bedroom...no bedroom furniture for that room, so I just store stuff there...it had a lot of boxes with miscellaneous stuff in them from when I moved here. Over time after digging through the boxes looking for this and that, it was a junky mess. So, I had him bring a chair in there for me to sit down, then bring one of my large roll-around trash cans in too. He held up stuff and asked, "keep, or throw away?" The "keep" stuff was organized and placed in totes, and the large trash can was full completely, mostly paper packaging, etc., and all dry garbage. I was glad that was done because those things niggle my mind a bit, until it is done. I go this morning to see Dr. Brown in Swainsboro, at 9:30, and tomorrow I have an appointment with Dr. Abraham Lyn who will then schedule my next and hopefully last cardiac catheterization if they got the longer catheter they had to order. I guess by now most of you know they have had a hard time getting my cardiac caths done because I am an anomaly in that my arteries are too long, I mean like the ones you would find in an NBA player. They have never seen anyone else with my anomalous anatomy, my blood vessels meander all over the place and their catheters were not long enough to reach my heart to place that third stent. They ordered one and when it comes Dr. Lyn will be able to finish with me for now. As a sidenote, many of you know that in recent years I have been plagued with reoccurring bouts of very painful condition in my neck/throat, it comes and goes. I will suffer terribly with it for months only to have remiss and go away for extended period then return once more. I was sent for many tests to various doctors, and it was diagnosed as an artery in my neck that was twisted, and looped around a bone spur in a neck vertebra and was pressing on my larynx and trachea. Other doctors were skeptical that that was a correct diagnosis because our arteries really don't have enough "slack" for lack of a better word, and therefor were not long enough to get in such a position. As it turns out, I am a one in a million, and my anatomy is very different from anyone they have ever seen, and indeed my neck arteries can get bunched up and cause problems. Remember, the distance from the heart to the area under the tongue is only about eight inches, so that brings it into perspective. Okay, let's move along. Yesterday, my friend Josh Waldbart, wanted me to go somewhere after church to buy me Sunday dinner, not the women folks, just me and him. I said I wanted to eat at Lynn and Bob's, or "Lemon Bob's," as my young nephew called it years ago, so I always call it that too. They have a great Sunday buffet. I had not eaten there in decades, in fact those from our area might recall a lady originally from Germany, named Renee, who was the hostess when I went there last, bless her heart she has been gone for decades. The food was very, very good, as it has been for since Lynn and Bob opened it, the owners always kept it like Lyn and Bob did when they ran it. Okay, I will be late if i don't et ready and out the door for my appointment. God bless y'all and also all of those who came over to speak to me at dinner at lynn and Bob's yesterday and tell me they cared and were praying for me.
