HEY YOU! YEAH, YOU! Hello. It's nice to see ya. It's been a long tiiiiiiii...oops, wow, oh shoot, gosh, I sure am glad I caught myself! I was getting really close to sounding like "him," that guy with the bouffant hair that couldn't sing worth a whit. I am glad I pulled out of that dive, woof, man, that was a close'un. My hands are still shaking. Lawd'amercy, now that was a close call!

Okay, let's skip the salutations and imitations. I enjoy having fun here at times, and hope I never step too far into silliness. But I think of who is out there, and will read this, and think maybe someone needs a chuckle, on those chuckleless days, in our old and worn fallen world. I like to encourage devotional thoughts of God and His word, serious thought, some benign history and folklore, and a laugh or two tossed in form good measure. It is what makes these Rememberamble posts fun for me and you, as they are a mix, and hopefully not a stale repitition of anything. Here is another reminder about our great Georgia Folk and Farm Life Fish Fry this Saturday, April 25 at 117 Dalton Drive in Burke County off Ga 56 near Waynesboro, at group member Joe Jeselnik's venue. Come on, bring a friend or two, it is free, well there will be a box/jar for donations to help defray the costs, but it is fine if you just come and enjoy and not pay, because it is always covered by those who can, with never a thought to anyone who can't. You can bring a dessert but we will have plenty if you do not. Please come, it is from 11am-2pm, so you don n not have to drive in the darkness, not get home late. I was going to ask Connie (my sister) to bring her keyboard, but on second thought, I said, nah, just come and enjoy it for once without having to play or sing. I thought of other things we might have planned for the event, but you know what? I do believe it will be best enjoyed by eating and talking, just fellowshipping, with no other requirements for your attention. I might bring lil Merle, but not sure of that either. Babee Conway does not do crowds well. lil Merle loves a crowd and loves everybody. Yeah, and I know some folks do not appreciate a dog in the eating room. So, I guess it will be a dogless event. I hope you can come and join us. I so look forward to seeing you there. Enjoy today, be kind to yourself and someone else.
