A REMEMBERAMBLE for February 06, 2026

Hello Mr. Friday! Of course, I really have no idea if Friday is a mister or miss, but just making a "w.a.g." at it, I will assume he is a mister, because if I said I thought he might be a miss, that would not make sense at all, now would it? No, not even now!! Has it not been a custom for many generations since Defoe's "Robinson Crusoe," to refer to a "man Friday?" I will give you that also the term has been usurped for use in the phrase, "girl Friday," but it is a Johnny come lately, or rather, a Jill come lately if you see fit. I say enough of this foolishness, Wade Peebles! Move along. MOVE ALONG, my good man. Yessum, I reckon we will. Now, what were we talkin about? I remember now, it was the weather, we were talking about the weather. Well, what about the weather, you ask? It is a bit chilly of late, but as it is winter, we are not too much puzzled nor put out about it. Here we are, just nigh on about one third of the way done with this rememberamble, and it has yet to make a dab of sense. If I can't figure it out, then I guess neither will you. I know of course that many of you enjoy it when I get playful with words, and I make you think about what I say here, so you can determine if it is brilliant banter or absolute bull doodies. Some shake their head and pray for God to give me good sense. I am sure that some show this to a family member to see if they can make sense of it, and some newbies probably have tired out completely from trying to decide if I am a genius or an imbecile. I can make a pretty good guess that they would lean heavy on the imbecile side with their votes. It brings to mind the time when I was three years old and I asked my mama what a genius was. She explained it to me, and when she finished, I said, "well, that's what I are!" Thus showing that I was not one. Returning to the topic of weather, it looks to be a nice upcoming spell of warmer weather, and I will be glad to see it. It has been damp, gloomy or drizzly so often lately that it feels cold out there when itis only cool. Some sunshine would be right welcome here if it has time for visit. I guess this is a good place to close this out, we did not get into any deep thoughts or profundity, so look for those another day. We love you and appreciate you being a part of our family group here.
