Okay, there you are, I was looking for you. I didn't know where you were. Let's get started, as the gang's all here. It is cold once more, as it should be. I prefer our weather to be seasonal, warm/cool in autumn and spring, hot in the summer and cold in the winter. I like to see things as they are meant to be, I'm not crazy about deviation from our expectations. I do get hot and I do get cold, but I don't care to be hot at Christmas, nor cold on the fourth of July! Wait, hold on, on second thought, cold would be nice on July 4th. I was sad the other day when it snowed and I was napping, and no one called to tell me. So, next time if you look outside your kitchen window and see snow, please call me! Unless you are in Siberia, Antarctica, or Buffalo, NY! A famous quote from a historical figure who I will not name because he was basically a very good writer but a failed human being, but I will give you his initials: Samuel Clemens/Mark Twain. Oh, yeah, the quote: "everyone complains about the weather, but no one does anything about it." Now, some of our finest and least knowledgeable, conspiracy theorists-folks say that our government is doing something about it. If they are controlling the weather, it is possible that they are trying to keep ancient knowledge from us, such as, the Oak island treasure, the fact that the earth is flat as a flitter, the location of Hoffa's body, who the next winner of the Powerball jackpot will be, and the place were all of our socks go. I hate to cut this short this morning, but I have an important meeting to attend, well, that is not exactly true, I am meeting Fay and Brock Burnett at Swainsboro's Coleman House for dinner.

I think I am the first person to ever omit Fay's maiden name, huh, yep, a first. You read it first right here on GF&FL! So, if you know how good the food there is, you understand that I am signing off, getting ready and have a rendezvous with destiny, with some fried chicken, butterbeans, dressing, and assorted other vittles.
