GOOD MORNING, FRIENDS

I do believe we have a wonderful Wednesday on our hands. Oh, did I hear you ask what makes it wonderful? You do. Most of us on most days are fully in charge of the kind of day we shall have. I understand if you are suffering physical or mental pain, grieving, and shattered by loss, you will be bereft today, and it is normal and understood.
Those are the days when we must let our loved ones and God help us. Anytime we are happy, are enjoying a great time doing whatever we enjoy, and speak of our joy, it is understood that we are yet mindful of those who due to circumstances beyond their control, are unable to find joy that day. Life in this fallen world metes out bad times and good times for all of us, and we must deal with life as it comes to us.
He causes the rain to fall on the just as well as the unjust. Sorrow and loss comes to all, for it is the lot of man while on earth. A brief post by our friend Harvey, about the difference to be seen in those who enjoy seeing the natural world, made me think of how single aspects of a persons likes and behavior can speak volumes about them. Some will cringe when reading this, and say I am being judgmental, but they misunderstand the scripture.
God gave us senses and a mind that can discern between good and evil, can allow us to evaluate a person by their words or deeds. If we never judge others by what we can observe, we are fools. I am referring to righteous judgments, not foolish ones, nor certainly not stepping into God's purview, and passing judgment on things he reserves to himself as God.
You recall God told Gideon to take his men to the water and watch as they drank. God instructed him to watch them, and to send those who lapped water with their tongue like a dog home, and keep those men who drank from water they held cupped in their hand for his army. I have used simple observations, of singular acts as a way of categorizing or evaluating some men and women.
I have so many times, watched men who are in New Beginnings in Christ, as they smoked, and watched to see how they dispose of their cigarette butts. Many of the men are there not to seek a better life, but to get life off of their back, so to speak. They had to go rehab somewhere as part of a court order, or they came voluntarily to get family off of their back.
Some are just making time until they can return to their life of drugging. Many are truly seeking God and relief from addiction, and a better life. So, when several are outdoors in the designated smoking areas, I might just wait to see what they do with those butts. Some will, despite the rules, full in the knowledge that they are not to toss them onto the ground, will do so.
A few will thump and flick them in a great skyward arc and watch them land on the ground, with a satisfied look. That my friend is a big, "---- you" to all concerned. I see that, and it tells me that man is not where he needs to be in his "walk." of course God can change him, and that is why no man will be kicked out for a small thing like that, no matter how discouraging it is to see, in hopes that God will work a miracle in his life.
I have seen it happen. I recall an evening once when I was at the Walmart in Swainsboro, it was sunset, and the sky was an amazing and awesome display of brilliant reds, orange, undulating yellows, the entire sky from one horizon to the other was a showcase of God's magnificence. I and others were awestruck. It was a natural response for most of those in that parking lot, coming and going, to stop and gaze in wonderment at a rare and singularly brilliant display.
But, there were many others who glanced at the sky and never looked up at kit again. I was dumbfounded that anyone could see such a wonder and not care to take even a moment to take it in. It struck me that those folks are different, they do not value such things, and would likely snarl at you for pointing it out. I see a few of you want to chastise me and defend them, saying they might have been in a hurry for a good reason, or had things I was not aware of on their mind.
But, these folks were coming out happily with their purchases or going in to shop, none looking harried or hurried. It just mattered not, to them. It is common now for anyone expressing views such as these to be termed "haters," because no one today should have opinions about others. I really, truly, want you to, and hope you do have an opinion about me, even if it is seeing me as hateful and hate filled.
An observation though, if I garner your ire for having an opinion of another, you will respond by saying vile and hate filled things to me. Think about that. I caught ya, didn't I? Now, let me thank you for visiting with me here this morning, and if you have turned on me for my words here today, I pray God blesses you and keeps you. All others, please know how deep my affection is for you.
I have a cardiac stress test this morning at 7:30 at our local hospital. I will see you later in the day back here at home.

Good morning Wade and the boyz.
I am praying for you this morning as you have the cardiac stress test !
God blessed us this morning with a beautiful sunrise! When I look at the flowers, different birds, and mountains, especially in the fall, how can one not believe in God.
Pray that you and the boyz will enjoy a wonderful day!
Great observation. "Live and let live" is what came to my mind reading your post. I pray this day is good for us all. Enjoy and make good use of it. It will be gone tomorrow.
