GOOD MORNING, FRIENDS

Well, look'a here, I'll b'swannee to my goodness, if it ain't a right cool, Monday morning in October once more, and more than likely the last Monday to be found hide nor hair of in October this year! That sounds right momentous, now don't it. The weekend was a good'n, I was feeling right pyert, not at all peak'd like last weekend. Saturday set well with me, and the Sabbath likewise, as "she," my longtime friend as well as my brother in Christ, Josh Waldbart, and the entire Bryan Sparks clan, including lil Junior.
Junior is growing like a weed, now Junior is not theirs, they just borrow him on Sundays between church and any other time they can wrangle him from his mama and daddy. Junior is with them enough that some think he is theirs. His dad, Juan is a grave digger so he has to work many Sundays. They love children, and children love them, oh, and Kenneth's buddy Edward came too. They rode together so Kenneth could leave early to take Edward to work in the afternoon, at the Dollar Tree in Metter.
They each are big ole boys, and took two to-go plates each for later. I also made my self a big supper plate, and as always, sent all of the leftovers home with them. I always fix enough for a large "grazing event" here at dinner, a plate for Kenneth to take for later, and send the rest home for their supper after church. I think Bryan was preaching last night, but anyway, after church on Sunday nights if they ate dinner at my house, I see to it they have enough so Crystal does not have to cook Sunday supper.
I had never made breakfast food for Sunday dinner before, but it sure was good. Josh brought me some of their hens' fresh eggs of almost all colors, my friend and glorious group member, Lisa, had brought me some Palmetto brand ole fashioned stone ground grits last week, I had a couple of boxes of Swaggerty's sausage patties in the freezer, that I love, some Sowell's large fresh sausage links, and a few packs of those small breakfast links that the kids like.
I had frozen pancakes that are about as good as you can make...(spare me your protestations on that subject, I am sure those you make are superfantabulous)...they are already cooked and only need a few minutes to thaw. I had some of those blueberry smoked sausages, yes, with real blueberries in them, and they were gone in a hurry, as they all loved those. I had a box of thick sliced bacon in the freezer also, and cooked some of it, but not all, as we had plenty indeed.
We had Sowell's (McAfee's in Wrightsville was our favorite, but it closed), and I have always liked Sowell's fresh pork sausage, so we had those and store brand, small fresh pork sausage links, Conecuh smoked sausage, and the other brand with blueberry. Then there was bacon, and the Swaggerty's patties that I love. I had cane syrup, molasses, Carey's maple syrup, buttery maple Blackburn's, Blackburn's, Cane Field, and Alaga brand cane syrups, Aunt Jemima's and Smucker's blueberry and strawberry syrups as well.
I have been known to sit down to eat Swaggerty's sausage patties, dipped in cane syrup as a meal! A1C? "What's that?" Huhuhuh, actually my A1C is always at a very good level, and so is my blood sugar. And, surprise, surprise, my chronic extreme hypertension I battled for years that was refractory, for which I took three heart and blood pressure meds daily for, to no good effect, reverted to normal a few years ago. Oh, we had good ole Sunbeam toast, with real butter, in a covered dish at room temperature so it spread just like butter...yeah, my bad, it was butter!
Oh, and I put some shredded mild cheddar in the grits. Many areas awoke to rain this morning, and it should be "sot in," to rain, for the day. Lordy, lordy, I have spent almost this entire cool morning's rememberamble, rambling on ad nauseum, about dinner yesterday. Well, actually it was supper last night, and yep, for breakfast again this morning too. Okay! Okay, I get it, enough about the dinner and resulting aftermath! Sometimes I, as mama would say, "you done run it in the ground and broke it off!"
Not another word about that eatin' event "what done and took place," at my house "yestiddy." Oops, before I forget, I am going to begin video taping me telling stories to be podcast on the website as well as YouTube. I will record them here at my house, maybe four or five stories each session, once a week, probably late on Saturday afternoons. It is not easy to record such things alone, I need a small audience, to interact with, so would any of you be interested in coming over here to my house on a Saturday afternoon to sit in my kitchen as my audience?
I know most live too far away to do that, but there are a large number of active members in a twenty-thirty mile or so, radius of Garfield. I am thinking of having six or eight of you, no big crowd, just a little group sitting at my dining table as I tell the stories, a few each time. Think about it, please. By the way, did I tell you we had lemon cake yesterday at my Sunday dinner? I didn't mention it? Well, "we did by drab," as Pa would say! Oh yeah, I promised to hush about the dinner, didn't I?
Lisa brought the cake last week, and I saved half of it for yesterday. One more thing I did mean to tell you, they brought babee Conway's lil brother, Chewbacca, who is a little black and tan spitfire, I love that mean *ss lil ole dog, and they brought Bella, their sweet pug, who was sporting a pretty, new, lil ole dress, that was so cute. All four pups had fun. Nope, I slap forgot to take any pictures, but those are days that are printed on the heart and not soon forgotten.
I promise to try to remember to not mention food in tomorrow's rememberamble. These boyz three slept last night well, as a good day can gift to you as a reward, in appreciation for a day well spent. You know what I mean, don'tcha? Love y'all, and never take you for granted, if a man such as I cannot see the blessings God has bestowed upon him, I would be a fool. And, to the best of my recollections, I am nobody's fool.
Make someone's day, please, find a way, seek His guidance, and He will set you on the path to do it.

Good morning Wade! I am so happy that you are feeling well and enjoying your company! Sounds like everyone went away feeling stuffed and happy! Blessings for a great day in our Lord. It is raining in north Georgia, and looking at my rain gauge, I think it must have rained all night.
Glad I had eaten my meager breakfast of Cheerios, banana, milk and coffee before I read your post. . Luckily, I am well satisfied with my traditional meal. (But love an occasional breakfast with all the fixings.). What stuck out to me was your mention of Aunt Jemima syrup. Did you already have that on hand or recently purchase it. Thought the name had gone by the wayside. Speaking of traditions. I would like different things to keep their original name.
