A REMEMBERAMBLE APRIL 03/2026

GOOD MORNING!!

Friday once more! Although I am no longer getting up at 2-3am and going to work, Fridays still seem special. Although there is no longer a paycheck at the end of the day, Fridays still seem special. I hope they remain so to me. I do have to avoid sleeping late today, as I have a appointment with my barber in Swainsboro this morning...who thought that I or anyone would need an appointment to see a barber...at 10:45, then at 1:30pm, I have to go to our hospital for tests. As you know I have a bum-ticker and I have to have surgery for a hernia/rupture soon, if possible. But I have to have some tests done to determine if I am a candidate for anesthesia or not. They don't like to put folks to sleep who might stay "asleep." Ya know whut I mean! I know I just had stents placed and that helped, but one blockage must remain as it is, because of my precarious arterial condition, and I have COPD and suffer from Congestive Heart Failure also. I just don't mention those very often. Both conditions are relatively mild, and I am thankful for that. I am aware that I must lose weight, but it is hard to do once you are unable to be very active. Plus, I love bad foods. A lot!! I was thinking that we live too fast these days. Really we do, we should, when we are yet young enough to get on our knees, and get back up again, we should pray while we are on our knees. Then we need to take time to look for the small things that got our attention long ago, when we lived a bit closer to our native soil. Watch a "cow killer," pass by in their hurry, as they seem to be always in a hurry, but of course watch them only! Look for roly-polies, twirl a doodle-bug from his hole, find a sandy spot and watch the big red ants. Hey, do you know how to snatch jumping jacks? Maybe you could show a kid how to grunt rally worms with a brick and a stick. Seriously, if there are lil kids you love, get them outdoors on their knees to pray, and then maybe, show them these things and more, that we knew of so very well. Try it, it couldn't hurt...well, not them it won't...huhuh. You might want some Ibuprofen later. I love y'all. Later...
