Good Tuesday to one and all. It has rained all night here in the Canoochee-Garfield Metropolitan Area, Fifteen Mile Creek is flooded for at least its lower twenty mile stretch. Bumpy Creek's bumps have almost all washed away, and several ducks have drowned. We were afraid the school buses would not be able to traverse the local dirt roads but the Coast Guard sent patrol boats to check, and sonar showed the water had washed away all of the mud, so if all the kids wear floaties, they should able to get to and fro just fine. The school board was going to cancel school, but so many "stay-at-home" moms called crying, they relented. The forecast indicates that the rain will end at 4:14 this afternoon, will change to snow at 6:00pm, when it will warm up considerably, as the temps drop during the night.

As for the fish fry, we hope you live close enough to attend, but we plan to have fish fries at a few other locations around Georgia before long, so you can come to. Matt and I are committed to hold some events or festivities in areas away from ground zero here at Garfield. I will mention the image I had made for the fish fry featuring me cooking fish in Biblical times with Jesus heading it all up. I enjoy making such images, anyone can do it, but I am going to brag a bit on myself and say that no one writes like me, and no one can imagine zanier images to accompany my writing. Most folks with Facebook groups could not come up with the ideas as I do, and like my writing, they are instantaneous. I never have to think about what I am going to write, nor do I ponder on what image I want made. Okay, enough tooting my own horn for now. I hope no one finds the image offensive, now and then a few members feel as if I cross the line with my humor, but I don't think it bothers Jesus. Well, let us close for now. I hope you know how special you are to us. May God richly bless you, my beloved...
