SPRUCING UP THE FRONT ROOM

My front room here at the house was dull and boring, like me. I found $27.32 in the pocket of my wool "Members Only" underdrawers from the 1980s that were way back in the bottom of my chifforobe's "chester" drawers.

When you come upon old money that you forgot you had, of course one's first thought is, "I did not know I had this, so I won't miss it if I give it to someone who really needs." So, I ordered stuff from the F.W. Woolworth's catalog on Temu.

They own the Woolworth's mail order business now, as well as the J.C. Whitney catalog, Watkins Products, and the Grit Newspaper outfit too. So, I went plum bat-doodie crazy ordering stuff for the front room.

I had enough money leftover to order a five gallon bucket of those hard candy lemon drops I used to love so good. When all the new stuff was in place, I let the boyz in to see how nice it looked, lil Merle didn't care about it one way or the other.

But the babee looked up at me and asked if I had some sunglasses he could borrow. Then the babee snickered and said, "deddee, if you gotta nudder pare bweak it in half and give it to lil Merle." That's brothers for you.

Anyway, I think it all looks just fine.

I know another thrift store you can visit that has beautiful stuff like that all the the time on HHI SC. You had better look in your old dresser drawers and find a little more than that though. The room looks beautiful any way you look at it Bubber!😜🤪🤥🤪
