GEORGIA FOLK AND FARM LIFE - Happy Sunday, friends!

Driving home this morning, I was reflecting on the Gospel of John, where we’re reminded that God sent His only begotten Son. It’s one of the most uplifting passages in all of Scripture—but just before it, we hear how the Son of Man must be lifted up. And there’s the reminder: just as Jesus carried His cross, each of us has one to carry too.

It’s a humbling thought, because the cross isn’t only a story of long ago—it’s our story each day, as we take up what God has set before us. My prayer is that I’ll pick mine up each morning and carry it faithfully. And you can be sure I’ll be praying for each of you to do the same.

I also want to pause and say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the Georgia Folk and Farm Life Gathering & Story Revival. It was a blessing to break bread and fellowship together. I’ll be editing the Story Revival recording this week so you can enjoy it again—and share it with those who couldn’t be with us.

The stories we share don’t end at the table. They live on through our Georgia Folk and Farm Life podcasts, along with our legacy Georgia Radio content you’ll find on our website. And as Wade mentioned yesterday, our brand-new video podcast is underway and set to launch this fall. We’ve got big plans—and it’s all for you.

So please, keep us in your prayers as we shoulder our cross and do our best to be a bridge—preserving faith, family, flag, and farm for generations to come.

Happy Sunday, y’all.

—Matt
