GOOD MORNING, FRIENDS

Good Wednesday morning, y'all. You may recall that I was scheduled for a cardiac stress test and other related tests two weeks ago, but the tech broke her foot. They rescheduled it for tomorrow. Then today, they called to reschedule it for next Wednesday, on the 19th.
The machine tore up, I think the same outfit that makes the ice cream machines for McDonald's makes the cardiac testing 'chines (pronounced, "sheeens"). Then they called to see if I wanted to do my scheduled pulmonary test next week or come on tomorrow for that. I told them to do it tomorrow, which is now today, at 9 am.
So that is best because otherwise I would have to wait for several hours between appointments for three tests, so getting the pulmonary knocked out today, will help next Wednesday with waiting time. A friend came for supper last night, and I fixed smoked sausages with good sauerkraut with horseradish mustard.
Also, eggs in purgatory with parmesan cheese. All inexpensive, and take only a few minutes to prepare. I have finally weaned the boyz from treats, people food, or wet foods for dogs. The vet told me months ago to do that so babee Conway could lose weight, but I was being softhearted and giving into them when they begged.
But I realized it was a must for both pups, due weight gain and digestive troubles. Turning a corner here, and opening a new can of topic, do you realize how big a part that cap pistols played in us young boy's lives? We spent more time with our cap pistols than we did with our family, and I think the family saw it as a win-win, all around.
We could wrangle a nickel from a family member, anytime for a box of caps, they saw it as money well-spent. It got us away and out from underfoot. Mama eventually banned the firing of cap pistols in the house, saying the smoke gave her a headache, I think it was another way to ensure we were out of the house for a while.
Something else, I have become aware of a recent phenomena, it being the incredibly loud roar of many newer pickups' tires. Of course there have always been certain that were prone to roar, but not like these. Honestly I can be in my yard and hear them coming when they are several MILES distant!
When we were younger, if we had new tires that roared, we would get rid of them. These do not bother me, but I don't think I could stand to own one and have to hear it day in and day out. It is evidently not a fad with some line of stupid-loud tires that young boys want like the squatty trucks.
It seems to be mostly new trucks with factory tires. Have you noticed this? If not, listen for them, it will amaze you. As I said, it is not a complaint, merely an observation. Thanksgiving is coming up quickly, and you really should go ahead and buy two cans of Ocean Spray Vatican Blessed, Baptist approved Cranberry Sauce for the big meal.
Please, please do not be misled by the debble, when he entices you to make that abominable homemade cranberry sauce with whole berries and such. Every time a housewife serves it to her innocent family an angel cries, and the debble sticks a needle into a kitten.
Well, it's not a real kitten, but it is the cutest plush toy one he could find to order from Temu. Well, let me get crackin', as we used to say. Love ya long time...
