Georgia Folk and Farm Life Gathering & Story Revival – This Saturday!

GEORGIA FOLK AND FARM LIFE - Friends, it’s almost here! Our Georgia Folk and Farm Life Gathering and Story Revival is happening this Saturday, September 13th, and we sure hope you can join us.

We’ll get started at 1:00 PM with a covered dish lunch. Bring a side if you can—and for heaven’s sake, somebody please bring a vegetable or a salad before we all end up with twelve pans of macaroni and cheese—but most importantly just come hungry and ready for fellowship. Around 3:00 PM we’ll begin the Story Revival portion of the afternoon, where the stories of our people and places will come to life.

This part of the day will be recorded for rebroadcast on GeorgiaFolkandFarmLife.com so others can share in the joy. If you’d like to tell a story, we only have 4 spots available. Please call ahead at 478-397-5157 to be considered. We’d also love to have a bluegrass element during the show, but haven’t had any takers yet—so if nobody steps up, we’ll gladly fill that spot with an extra story.

The Gathering will take place at New Beginnings in Christ in Garfield, Georgia, a place that’s doing good work helping men in recovery. Donations to their ministry are greatly appreciated.
