Gathering Today!

GEORGIA FOLK AND FARM LIFE - Friends, the day we’ve been waiting for is finally here. The Georgia Folk and Farm Life Gathering and Story Revivalkicks off this afternoon, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you. We’ll start with a good old-fashioned covered dish lunch at 1:00 p.m. — so bring your best casserole, fresh garden vegetables, or even just a plate of biscuits. As Wade likes to say, “No matter what you bring, it always tastes better when shared with friends.”

Then, around 3:00 p.m., the Story Revival begins. We’ll settle in for an afternoon of laughter, tears, and old-fashioned storytelling. We’ve still got three spots open for storytellers — so if you’ve got a tale on your heart, today’s the day to share it. And for the pickers out there, we’ve also got one open slot for a song. This is your chance to step up and be part of the Revival!

Everything will be recorded for a special podcast on GeorgiaFolkandFarmLife.com and shared later this week, so the stories and songs live on long after the afternoon ends.

This is more than an event. It’s a chance to gather as a community: to share songs, remember the old ways, and build new memories together.

So bring your family, bring your friends, and come ready for fellowship. We’ll see you at the Gathering today — because nothing binds a community together quite like food, stories, and a song or two.
