A REMEMBERAMBLE, SUNDAY 12/28/25

Since my rememberambles have been sporadic of late due to health problems, and have begun popping up at various times of the day, I decided to dispense with the "Good Morning, Friends," title and simply refer to them as remeberambles. I think that works better, and does not mandate a set part of the day that they will appear. Most of us do not like change most of the time, but I believe this is much better, as we have come to like and use the term I coined for them, "rememberamble." If you are averse to this change, and are unhappy about it, let me know and I will give you a full and complete refund. Huhuhuh! It is Sunday, and Sundays are meant for peace and quiet, for respite from our labors, and for worshipping He who made it all and gave His all. I might not have mentioned it but our church, Westside Baptist in Statesboro closed, so I am between churches. I am still a member of Canoochee Baptist up the road about 5.5 miles, but do not attend there, I have a few times in recent years, but as a visitor. I had joined Westside and had not asked them to "move my letter," as they used to say concerning a member who leaves to join another church. That phrase just popped into my head and with it came the realization of how long it has been since I heard the term. Technically, I was for a while a member of two Baptist churches, and that is frowned upon. But it was not long before the matter resolved itself, when Westside kicked me out.

It was a bit of a moving experience. Mostly my body moving quickly to the parking lot. It didn't hurt much though.

So I was once again a member of Canoochee Baptist Church only. You might wonder why I don't generally attend church at New Beginnings in Christ, so I will tell you, no, they did not throw me out. I love New Beginnings, but I am not crazy about the music, but the men in the program love it, so it is the kind they love so it is the right music for them. Don't tell Pastor Mike...please...but the services are too long for my ADHD, HDTV, Social Anxiety laden, anti-social, Aspergers brain, to sit in one place. And believe me, if your brain has to get up and leave, most of the rest of ya must go too. You know I go tomorrow afternoon to the Hospital in Statesboro for a cardiac cath and installation of a couple of stents. I can't wait, I am so looking forward to being stronger and able to engage in life more each day. You know me, so I, of course had to have some fun with the subject, so I made this image of my hear, and how old and worn out my heart hamster is, and that I will get a new one.

OKAY, OKAY, I hear ya hollering, and want to know why Westside kicked me out. I missed too many Sundays in a row, the bylaws I agreed to, had a limit to missed Sunday services which I exceeded. I kept attending and they tried to get me to rejoin, but I said I liked it better a as a visitor, that way I could lay out as often as I liked. We all had a good laugh about it, and I was free to be a delinquent.
